The Passion for Art
My love for color and art, go way back to Elementary School where I wrote a poem about how much I love colors and how they made me feel. Over the years, my admiration for artistic endeavours never left, but it has ever been evolving. Middle School was crayons, Highschool was pens and sharpies, College and after have been a mixture of acrylic paint and abstract. The past 5 years have mainly been digital illustrations. I've always dreamed of making my own art shop and after years and years of delaying it, I finally decided to share my art. I hope it encourages you as much as it encourages me when getting wrapped up in low moods, or need that visual boost to keep going. My faith will continue to be transforming my art, why should we be ashamed of the gospel!! I didn't think my art was "good" enough and years later its only a matter of maturing to realize art doesnt have to be "perfect" it has to be true and raw and real.
What Bertha88 Studios is all about:
Bertha88 Studios is a colorful mix of faith, nature, doodles and emotions. Yes. I beleive in God. And no, I'm not a perfect Christian. Allowing to have my art exist despite the perceptions, is allowing inner little me to be heard, and my spirituality continously shapes who I am and what I create.
I hope we can grow together in faith, and allow imperfection to exist while we strive for better.
Any Progress is good Progress.
